Reassuring news from Rowle last night. The Treasury is still in our hands, though it would be prudent to assume it will be targeted.

Also, Rod is in. Though not without concessions.

Excellent. And, yes, reassuring. Any interruption in salaries would be a distraction (and more).

Mixed reports from Ipswich and NL. Mostly quiet. Still reports of buildings and monuments going to pieces.

Unfortunate he found it so diverting in the early years to go round laying foundation stones. Got word this morning the entire Vale of Health facility dissolved. Have a unit out now, collecting the curse-addled as they wander Hampstead. Not sure where we'll put them. Surplus Sleeper storage, possibly. Shame they got so many days start on us.

At least the new mothers at St M's were discovered strait away when the ward vanished around them. Imagine it was startling to find themselves out on the bare roof.
