February has been a month to burn the midnight floo powder. Fortunately, it looks as if I will be able to return home to my husband and child at a reasonable hour tonight. Not so fortunately, the MLE's business today was not wrapped up entirely as planned. All I will say on the matter is that when bodies show up at all-too convenient moments, I can't help but become immensely suspicious.

The net tightens, however, and it shall tighten further still.

Should you or Rodolphus care for some time without Mrs Baylock, I'd be happy to welcome little Rigel for a visit. I declare I have never seen such a perfect little angel of a baby. Not even Draco used to be so consistently well-tempered.

I do not think I am ready to put aside my pursuit just yet, but perhaps your offer will be more timely in late spring, before the children return from Hogwarts and Hydra descends upon her father to sop up all his attentions.
