Unfortunate news. Our liaison to the goblins has confirmed that the Treasury is no longer in our hands. Every single knut belonging to the Protectorate was housed in a single vault kept in the lord protector's name. Harry Marvolo was the heir to that vault, and Harry left all his worldly belongings to Draco Malfoy.

There are back-up assets in place. Be assured, and assure everyone else, that you will still get paid.

Do not bring any more attention to this matter than necessary. Stick to the message: the Order and their supporters will eliminate magic for everyone who doesn't subscribe to their extremist view. I want one of the Ministry staff on the WWN later today describing what the null-zone feels like. Two or three members of staff, even better.

The lord protector had a inspired vision of a realm where purity was respected and encouraged; where the vast limits of magic were freely explored rather than condemned; where wizards and witches did not have to live amongst the inferiour, or hide in the shadows. That vision was and is still something to behold. But the execution of that vision was flawed.

News of what happened at the castle has reached my ears. It never fails to satisfy--word that yet another traitor to Our Lord's cause has been so righteously put to death. I only regret that I wasn't able to see the spectacle with my own eyes.

Hydra is also a matter of great concern. She has now been associated with not just two, but three (Draco, Harry, the Greengrass woman) known and verified traitors to the Lord's cause. I have not yet reported to Our Lord with my suspicions as He prefers to come to his own conclusions on these matters.

However, if Hydra's nature can be made more evident, then He will come to that conclusion more quickly.

Back to Harry. It's doubtful he should make an appearance at the castle again, barring special circumstance. But I must stress that if he is found, he must be delivered to the Lord Protector in perfect condition.

Seditious rebels made their way into Azkaban during last night, taking advantage of our absence in devotion to His glorious display.

Twenty-nine prisoners extracted, many of them known traitors or otherwise in violation of upholding the core values of the Protectorate. Among those twenty-nine was Dominic's little friend Maghnus.

Also among the twenty-nine was Lucius. Have not yet told Cissy.

Reported to our Lord earlier today. You can imagine, I'm sure, His response.

When do you anticipate complete recovery, Barty? Will need your wand to reel Lucius in, along with those who sprung him.
